Cross Buggy
I'm on my way in creating my own Buggy
Before starting this project, I had to decide what strength of pipe would suit my needs. Having decided to use 1 - 1/4" pipe I then set out to get black pipe. After examining what black pipe was available here in the Philippines I decide because of price and because the black pipe I found was already scratched up and starting to rust, I decided to go with galvanized.
So I started out with a frame design in the back of my mind. I wanted to be able to use an ATV front frame style I had bought, however, after having anything but fun using my hydraulic pipe bender for the first time I realized I wasn't accomplishing what I thought I could do. This first frame style I bent up was not easy and then I couldn't make it meet like I wanted.
After a few nights of laying in bed and after examining more Cross Cart buggies creations in You Tube, I decided to go buy another 6 meter piece of 1 - 1/4" galvanized pipe and start again.
So below is the new design I bent up and I'm much happier. I didn't take pictures as I should have of the basic frame bend after doing it so here's the progress since I found the design I wanted to use.
What you see above is the frame and I'm working on the bottom side, so in the next page you'll see it turned upright.
